Next is an application based social media that geo tags locations which only users within the radius have access to the photo and are able to like the posts.

The Personas

I interviewed 10 students and 10 office workers who fit my potential use base. Based on my user interviews and insights I created two user personas that exemplify my user base. One as a college student and the other an experience office worker.

What matters

I asked users to rank the following factors by: Time, distance, safety. The graph depicts the average of the ranked score for those factors. 60% Time 30% Safety and 10% Distance.

After defining the user flow I began the wireframing process. Below is a selection of several of the wires that I worked on.

Insights

After pitching this concept to various students and workers, I received resounding, positive reviews.

1. Functionality Expansion: Moving forward, I would love to see video streaming services where only users around the radius are able to see the stream, for example, if they are in a parade and can’t see whats going on in the front, they can use this service to see what is going on in the front of the parade.

2. User Testing: An extremely important next step for me would be to actually get users in front of the product and want to see which features they used or didn't use, unlike the prototype I offered and see if there were any features that was particularly difficult to access or use.
